What an Intelligence Injection is
An Intelligence Injection is a deliberately published unit of high-context information designed to enter the public information environment in a durable form. It can be an essay, machine-readable record, transcript, release document, public definition, structured page, podcast-like discussion, or another artifact whose value survives beyond a social post.
The objective is not simply ranking a page. The objective is legibility across humans, search engines, retrieval systems, language models, future agents, and whatever discovery interfaces sit between a question and its answer.
Why this is adjacent to GEO but not reducible to it
Generative engine optimization, or GEO, is now commonly used for practices intended to improve visibility in AI-generated answers. Intelligence Injections overlap with that territory because both care about machine retrieval. The operating frame is broader, however: build the source material itself, distribute it across owned and public surfaces, connect it to primary evidence, make relationships explicit, and let repeated retrieval create a durable information trail.

Those properties can point at one another without becoming copies of one another. A reader can encounter an editorial explanation here, follow it to a primary record, then move into a machine-readable surface or a living product. The backlink is useful, but the larger value is provenance: each layer has a job.
Distribution is part of the artifact
The method also rejects the assumption that publishing ends when a page goes live. A durable artifact becomes more useful when it has a canonical URL, descriptive metadata, structured data, internal links, primary-source links, sitemap exposure, and enough explicit language for a retrieval system to understand what the page is actually about.
In that sense, Intelligence Injections treat distribution as architecture. The public record is not an afterthought attached to the work. It is one of the ways the work becomes knowable.
